Randall J. Barlass

July 16, 1970 -November 8, 2010


RANDALL J. BARLASS, age 40, son of George and Shirley (Elphick) Barlass, passed into eternal glory in the loving arms of his Father on November 8, 2010 at Fort Atkinson Hospital. Randy was born in Janesville on July 16, 1970 and was baptized at Rock Prairie Presbyterian Church. Randy attended Special Education programs at several schools in Janesville. He also attended St. Francis School in Freeport, IL. for 5 years. In 1985 Randy became a resident of Bethesda Lutheran Home in Watertown, and in July of this year he moved to Fort Atkinson. Randy will be forever remembered by family and friends for his infectious grin and for his love of music and animals. He will be tearfully missed by all who loved and cared for him. Randy is survived by his parents, George and Shirley Barlass, and siblings: Gordon (Michelle) Barlass, Nancy (Tom) Arndt of Janesville; Scott (Janeen) Barlass of Brooklyn. Nephews: Jason Cuff, Eric Arndt and Kyle, Ryan, Aaron, Ethan and Hayden Barlass; nieces: Alesha and Jennah Arndt, and Haley Barlass. He was preceded in death by his sister, Diane, and loving grandparents: Merrill and Betty Elphick and Alfred and Meta Barlass.


Randy- You have taught us so much-we will always hold you in our hearts and will never forget you!!


A celebration of his life will be held at noon at Rock Prairie Presbyterian Church, Janesville, on Thursday, November 11, 2010 with Pastor Jamie Swanson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Assisting with arrangements is the Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, Janesville. Memorials may be made to a fund to be established in Randy’s name.
